WHAT IT DOES - PROTECTING YOUR DATA - FROM JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING

ONE LESS WORRY

SecuredBackup works like all good backup systems, with one important difference. Instead of using a tape drive or other media attached to the computer it sends it over the Internet to our DataStore.

Usually at night while computers are not being used, backups can also be done on-demand, any time.

It is completely automatic, in fact, you may even forget it's working.

SecuredBackup accomplishes several essential steps that are often overlooked or done improperly.

SecuredBackup is done automatically, on schedule and reliably. No more "I think I did it"

SECURITY OF YOUR DATA

Your data is sent to us over the Internet and could be "seen" by many many computers before it gets to us.

Therefore, all your data is encrypted on your machine BEFORE it is transmitted.

SecuredBackup gives you the choice from the eight most powerful encryption standards and key bit lengths. This multi-encryption feature makes SecuredBackup the most secure backup software available.

Secure Key Generator - You can enter your own Encryption Key, or use SecuredBackup's Key Generator. It is only with this Encryption Key that your data can be restored to a useable state.

We cannot read your data and nor can anyone else. We do not even know what the original data was, it just comes to us as a file with a 30+ character alpha numeric name.

On the downloads page is an actual file that was backed up from one of our offices (we use our own service), please feel free to have a "play" with it.

THE CORRECT DATA

The correct data is backed up. Many systems have a list of files to be backed up. This usually represents how things were, and often misses critical files. Very few businesses take the trouble to reset their backup software regularly to include new files.

SecuredBackup solves this problem by constantly re-evaluating your system and adding files to the backup as needed. Several full copies of files are stored using a sophisticated version control system. This is much too important to overlook.

The general definition of "proper" backups requires redundancy. You must keep multiple copies of the same files at different points in their development, called versions. As an example, you should have a different copy of each backed-up file for each backup session. Further, you should be able to easily restore any of your files up to any given point in time.

Banks do it, big corporations do it, so should your business.

DISTANCE MEANS SECURITY

Finally and most importantly, your encrypted data is sent offsite immediately and safely stored away from your computers and business.

On-site backups are of little use when your equipment fails, your building burns or you are subject to deliberate data damage.

SecuredBackup solves this problem by automatically storing your valuable data at one of our DataStores. So you can be back up and running with new computers and your latest data no matter what catastrophe happens.

SecuredBackup runs on Windows 95, 98, NT, XP, ME, and 2000
